Sourcing Data Analyst - Intern

Job Description

• Work closely with Skyworks Global Sourcing stakeholders to understand their business goals

• Determine the best data source and models that can support those goals

• Engage with cross functional stakeholders from finance, business lines and potential external consultants

• Develop Proof-of-Concept data models, including creating new databases, creative algorithms, and predictive models

• Creatively present the data and share insights with team members

• Integrate POC models into existing business process

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, or Data Analytics. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on sourcing analytics and data visualization.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations specific to sourcing metrics.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Competent in the field of A.I, with the ability in bridging concept to practical use-case that enhanced current business processes and data systems
  • Solid understanding of sourcing processes, supplier management, and cost analysis.
  • Experience with data modeling and data integration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex sourcing insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced sourcing environment.
  • Familiarity with ESG principles, sustainability and responsible sourcing practices is a plus.
