Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local and corporate regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the wafer fab facility to identify and address potential hazards and risks.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels to promote awareness and compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
- Manage the company's incident reporting and investigation process, including conducting thorough root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering controls and other measures to mitigate risks and improve safety performance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities, including regulatory reporting requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests for information.
- Lead and Chair monthly EHS committee inspections and meetings which will be attended by various department leads, maintaining the accountability of closure of safety findings.
- Manage the company’s Fire Drills and ERT (Emergency Response Team) system to ensure the personnel are well trained and responsible to their duties
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety management, preferably in a semiconductor manufacturing or similar high-tech industry.
- Candidates with Safety Officer Level C certifications are strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of relevant EHS regulations and standards, including but not limited to OSHA and WSH requirements.
- Proven experience developing and implementing EHS programs and initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct thorough incident investigations and root cause analyses.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
