Responsibilities
Yield Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor daily product yield performance and identify yield excursions, baseline shifts, and defect-related losses.
- Develop and maintain automated yield monitoring systems, dashboards, and reporting tools to support daily, weekly, and monthly yield reviews.
- Analyze test parametric data, inline metrology, defect mapping, AOI, SPC, machine logs, material performance, and equipment data to identify yield trends and opportunities.
- Design and develop big data analytics systems and tracking tools to support process integration and yield analysis from front-end manufacturing through backend assembly and test.
- Lead root cause investigations for yield, quality, and reliability issues.
- Perform commonality analysis to rapidly identify potential root causes of yield degradation.
- Coordinate failure analysis activities with internal and external laboratories.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
- Drive resolution of customer-returned materials and manufacturing non-conformances.
- Collaborate with Process, Equipment, and Manufacturing Engineers to resolve process and equipment limitations impacting yield and quality.
Required Experience and Skills
- Candidate must possess at least Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- Possess 3 - 5 years of manufacturing experience in Semiconductor industry preferred.
- Familiar with analysis tools such as PFMEA, DOE, SPC, FTA and etc.
- Competency with software like JMP, Exensio and PowerBI is a plus
- Project management and statistical/analytical skills are essential
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Mainly excel & macros)
- Meticulous, independent, multi-tasking, sense of urgency and able to work under pressure
- High level of discipline and integrity
- Possess a positive attitude and sense of urgency
