Job Responsibilities

  • Major focus to manage & increase yield, reduce cost and margin improvement activities in Electrical Wafer Probe and Final Test aspects.
  • Identify and drive on diverse opportunities for improvement in striving towards shipping high quality Wireless front end modules.
  • Cross functional working relationships between Design teams, Program Managers, Quality engineering and Operations personnel to ramp and sustain product line in high volume manufacturing (test engineering, lab services, planning and production sustaining engineering)
  • Identify and improve correlation between high speed ATE vs Evaluation board performance and define improvement actions for continuous improvements.
  • Ensure all aspects of product manufacturing, including wafers, packaging, test solutions and qualifications, are complete before pre-production release of NPI to production.
  • Create and/or approve the release of information, specifications, instructions and other manufacturing “Process on Record” of products
  • Statistically analyze yields, SYL/SBL and ATE test data. Identify, drive and improve parametric differences between lots and/or subcons.
  • Lead 2nd Level Electrical evaluation efforts of RMA cases and contribute in providing subject matter expert points in 8D report.
  • Product test bench characterizations to arrive to determining appropriate limit guard banding between final test and EQC.
  • Define and create DOE to determine root cause analysis in complex and diverse issues in high volume production environment.
  • Arrive towards disposition of maverick lots using scientific and engineering analysis.

Job Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering with min 2-6 years of experience.
  • Strong hands-on RF test and measurement skills
  • Strong lab test background including design and implementation of experiments
  • Strong test engineering support skills for product debug in lab and in production line
  • Familiar with Silicon and GaAs based wafer processing
  • Experience on LTX PAX/ Fusion CX hardware & software an asset –
  • Experience programming in Labview using GPIB and VXI
  • Strong statistical background with software analysis tools (JMP, Datapower, Galaxy, Exensio etc.)
  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills
  • Exceptional team and communication skills to interface with program management, subcontractors and other relevant teams
  • Able to travel regionally to provide engineering interface and/or support with other cross-functional groups, internally and externally
