Description
Join our Strategic Sourcing Team and gain hands on experience in Supplier Managment, Cost Analysis, Supply Planning and Sourcing Strategy within the semiconductor industry. You will leverage your strong analytical skilles to analyse supplier data, pricing, capacity , spend and market trends, ability to identify cost-savings opportunities and mitigate supply risks. You will also support RFQs, supplier benchmarking and mapping of supplier product offerings vs Skyworks needs. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly analytical and proactive student who enjous working with data and wants to develop practical experince in strategic sourcing, procurement and supply chain management.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing analytics: Analyze supplier cost /capacity and spend data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Cost analysis: Support should-cost analysis, price benchmarking, cost comparisons and price variance analysis.
- Supplier Management: Assist in evaluating supplier performance, capacity.
- Projects: Support RFQs, Supplier comparisons, Quotation analysis.
- Supplier capability and product offering vs Skyworks’ Needs.
- Translate data into business insight and actionable.
Required Experience and Skills
- Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management or Data Analystics or similar discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large amounts of data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Strong Microsoft excel skills with Power BI, SQL, Paython or other data analytics tool is an advantage.
- Strong communications and able to collaboration with cross function teams.
- Proactive and willing to learn about Sourcing, Suppliers and the semiconductor Industry.
