Lead the global Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensuring full alignment across demand, supply, material availability, and capacity constraints to deliver a feasible and executable plan. Drive synchronization of sales orders, demand forecasts, and inventory strategies to optimize customer service levels, working capital, and operational efficiency.
Serve as the primary interface between Sales and Operations, facilitating cross-functional alignment, resolving demand-supply imbalances, and enabling data-driven decision-making through the S&OP/IBP process. Provide strategic leadership across a globally dispersed planning network, establishing standard processes, governance, and performance metrics to ensure consistency, transparency, and accountability.
Proactively identify risks and opportunities within the supply chain, implementing mitigation strategies to address capacity constraints, material shortages, and demand volatility. Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging advanced planning systems, analytics, and digital tools to enhance forecast accuracy, schedule adherence, and overall supply chain resilience.
Mentor and develop regional planning teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, agility, and operational excellence, while aligning execution with broader business objectives and long-term growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a master schedule that supports sales orders and sales forecast, including ending FG inventory targets.
- Communicate and coordinate with business units, Engineering, Sourcing and Planning teams and senior management by providing insightful analytics to support business decisions
- Develop operational metrics and insights to provide guidance to the operations and drive budgeting, business decisions and KPI’s
- Manage master scheduling staff and material flow to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
- Responsible for New Parts Introduction and pre-production ramps. Focal point between BU's program management, sales and operations for up-to-date communication of manufacturing ramps, revenue and customer requirements, product release status, Milestones, etc.
- Analyze demand requirements to identify production and supply bottlenecks and recommend actions for resolution.
- Directs production planning to ensure on time availability of products to fill customer orders and on time shipments.
- Conducts capacity planning and provide input to manufacturing regarding anticipated machine / capacity issues.
- Coordinates with purchasing department changes and updated requirements for purchased goods and materials.
- Evaluates and recommends actions to improve on time delivery performance (FCD and CRSD) to the customer.
- Responds to Sales and Demand Management on any Production issues and responsible for revenue achievement
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or Supply Chain Management (MBA preferred)
- 15+ years of supply chain experience in high-volume semiconductor or manufacturing environments
- Deep expertise in MPS, MRP, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and capacity planning
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation capabilities
