Senior Principal Application Engineer
Responsibilities
An Application engineer position for power amplifiers and front-end modules products servicing for Networking WiFi market.
Work activities to include:
- Work with chipset partner to design in Skyworks FEM in the reference design.
- Evaluation board/radio hardware design
- Verification and evaluation of products in development for compliance to device and system level requirements
- Writing of datasheet and application notes
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolution of device production issues
- Working with customers and internal teams to define device level requirements and perform system tradeoff analyses
- Application design support activities could include schematic design, PCB layout, troubleshooting and testing of customer board and collection of relevant performance data to meet customer design needs.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related specialization.
- Candidate with Masters Degree qualifications are welcomed to apply.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in netowrking WiFi application of power amplifiers in Broadcom/QCA/MTK systems.
- Familiar with Broadcom/QCA/MTK system testing tool. Experience in FEM validation progress in SoC reference design.
- Experience in RF PCB design, test and troubleshooting of RF circuits, and RF systems analysis.
- Strong theoretical background in RF systems design and Regulatory Qualification.
- RF Testing experiences are highly desirable.
Desired Experience and Skills
- PA validation, DPD algorithm and WiFi application experience
- Broadcom/QCA/MTK/Maxlinear system levle test experience and knownledge of the SoC system architecture.
- Problem solving, teamwork, good communication and presentation skill.
