Description
Job Title: Senior Production Planner
Department: Operations / TMG
Location: SWKS Chupei Office
Responsibilities
- Manage OSATs whom service wafer sort , probe , DPS , assembly and final test processes.
- Drive OSATs toward to KPIs.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems (SAP) to generate PO , manage planning parameters, run simulations, and generate actionable plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, sales, and engineering teams to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and drive initiatives to reduce excess & obsolete (E&O) stock while maintaining service levels.
- Analyze production performance metrics (e.g., schedule adherence, capacity utilization) and implement corrective actions.
- Report management including OTD report , cycle time report , aging PO report , racetracker and input/output control .
- Identify risks in the supply chain and propose mitigation strategies to minimize disruption
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes through lean methodologies and digital tools
Desired Experience and Skills
- Bachelor degree in Engineering,IE , Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Engineering background strongly preferred (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, materials planning, or supply chain roles within high-mix, low-to-mid volume manufacturing environments (semiconductor, electronics, or automotive industries preferred).
- Fluent in English and Mandarin .
- Proven expertise with ERP/MRP systems (SAP experience a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing, JIT, and inventory optimization principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
- Able to work in Chupei, Taiwan
