Description
We are seeking immediate employment of a Senior (or higher) software engineer to drive the expansion to the existing DevOps tools and process to new teams inside of Skyworks.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with multiple firmware and software teams
- Communicate ideas and proposals clearly
- Propose solutions based on team requirements and industry best-practices
- Implement continuous integration frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers
Required Experience and Skills
- BSEE/BSCE required
- 8+ years of industry experience in software, firmware, and or DevOps
- Proven track record of designing, deploying, maintaining, and evangelizing software DevOps tools and methodologies
- Must have a good understanding of the Agile approach to software development
- Excellent written and verbal communication and technical presentation skills
Desired Experience and Skills
- Creating and maintaining virtual machines/containers using Docker or other tools
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex architectures
- Experience with GitHub,
- Experience with Azure DevOps\MlOps
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with build tools, such as Make, CMake, and others
- Proficient in Python with knowledge of other scripting languages
