Description
The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for leveraging understanding of the assigned businesses’ workforce planning needs to support talent acquisition strategies in an effort to attract and hire diverse best-in-class talent for the organization. This position, which resides in the Talent Acquisition COE, reports to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, APAC.
Responsibilities
• Develops and executes innovative search techniques to generate a qualified and diverse pool of candidates necessary to staff open positions, as well as creating a talent pipeline for future hiring needs
• Provides consultation on optimum approaches to strengthen candidate pool, including recruiting strategy and strategic projects
• Implements creative and targeted search/marketing strategies including managing online job postings
• Leverages social media to build a strong employer brand
• Manages candidate activity within the Applicant Tracking System
• Manages candidate experience through all stages of recruitment process: attraction through selection process
• Supports college recruitment activities, job fairs and community outreach efforts
• Follows up with Hiring Manager and Regional HR Consultants as needed and in a timely manner to provide updates
• Reports on effective recruiting trends and makes recommendations based on data
• Advises Hiring managers and Regional HR Consultants on labor market analytics, trends, and competitive compensation packages
• Ensures company complies with laws and regulations as it relates to online sourcing, staffing, and hiring practices
Required Experience and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (advanced degree and/or PHR/SPHR preferred)
• Minimum 10+ years related experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to effectively interface with all level of employees
• Prior experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruitment tools
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
• Exceptional results orientation with a high degree of personal initiative and very hands on, flexible and customer centric attitude
