Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Be a customer advocate and primary contact to customer quality related requests for key Data Center customers in Taiwan.
- Responsible for all aspects of Product Quality from product development through high volume sustaining for products for Taiwan Data Center market.
- Interface with key customers to fully understand the customer’s issue and deliver Skyworks response (status, containment, full issue resolution).
- During product launch, work closely with the customer and product development team to surface any potential issues early to insure stable/high quality device during high volume manufacturing.
- During high volume sustaining, resolve customer issues via leading a cross-functional technical team to determine containment, root cause and corrective actions.
- Drive quality initiatives to achieve customer DPPM/customer complaint cycle time targets and ensure quality of 8D reports.
- Manage customer Quality related inquires and audit request.
Required Experience and Skills
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree. Advanced degree is a plus.
- At least 8 years Semiconductor experience in the areas of Design, Test, Package, Wafer, Assembly, Failure Analysis, Product Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality.
- Strong verbal and written skills in Chinese and English. Ability to clearly organize and articulate information and persuasively deliver at all levels of the organization including executive level both internally and with the customer.
- Good understanding of end customer’s product validation process and best practices (PCB and Product level).
- Power products, wireless devices, or equipment/telecom and/or cellular phone experience.
- Good business and legal sense. Ability to set team priorities.
- Extensive problem solving experience leveraging Industry/Automotive best practices (8D, 3X5 Why, Fish Bone).
- Ability to lead large global teams to quickly identify containment and root cause resolution for complex issues.
- Strong program management, analytical and data-driven skills.
- Must be capable of effectively interfacing at all levels of the organization including executive level both internally and with the customer.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to drive complex issues to closure in a timely manner and clearly communicate the result.
- Must exhibit self-motivation, demonstrate sense of urgency and be capable of successfully multi-tasking in a high pressure, fast-paced environment, matrix environment.
- Must demonstrate a sense of teamwork.
