Job Description
Diversified Analog Solutions (DAS) business unit is seeking an RFIC and/or Module design engineer for our wireless infrastructure products. The candidate will contribute to sub 12 GHz chip/module level designs, achieving some of the most challenging specs. The candidate is preferred to have solid EM modeling background at the IC or Module level and high-volume production experience.
The position is on-site at any of our major locations in Woburn/Andover (Massachusetts, USA) or Ottawa, Canada.
Job Responsibilities
• Translate product level specs into circuit block level performance specs, circuit architecture & design
• Manage design tradeoffs on performance, risk, yield, testability, and cost.
• Transistor and/or Module level RF circuit design to meet product requirements
• IC and/or Module Layout floorplan to optimize performance and post layout EM simulations results
• Module level RF tuning
Job Requirements
- Master's in electrical engineering and 6 years of related experience
- Hands-on Design experience of Linear and non-linear RF mid and high-Power Amplifiers
- Hands-on Design experience of passive circuits such as matching networks, filters, harmonic terminations and baluns.
- Hands-on Design experience of Multiplayer RF modules
- Familiar with high isolation and high linearity RF switches
- IC design experience in GaAs, SiGe, SOI, pHEMT, or GaN using Cadence Virtuoso and/or Keysight ADS
- Familiar with ESD protection strategies
- Comfortable with at least one major EM tool for full IC + module level simulation (Momentum, EMX, HFSS, etc.)
- Basic understanding of digital communications, device physics and signal processing
- Good communication skills

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $112,500 - $215,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
