Job Summary

 

The Stock Analyst is responsible for the administration and compliance of company-wide domestic and international equity plans, including employee stock option, restricted stock, performance share and employee stock purchase programs, in an E*Trade outsourcing environment. The position is responsible for maintaining/reconciling the employee stock database, producing and analyzing reports and serving as a resource to employees, management and Directors for complex stock-related inquiries.  The position is also responsible for developing stock-related employee communication and education programs and staying abreast of best practices and developments in applicable laws related to the Company’s stock plans.  The position reports the Senior Director, Compensation and Benefits and partners with HR, Legal and Finance on an ongoing basis.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple stock incentive plans, including grant processing, exercises/releases, recordkeeping, termination verification, and accounting/payroll/tax reporting
  • Maintains and audits the employee stock database in an outsourced environment and facilitates exchange of information with outsourcing vendor (E*TRADE)
  • Collaborates on equity plan design and communications
  • Supports employee, executive and Board of Directors inquiries related to equity programs
  • Compiling and preparation of data for Compensation Committee reports, proxy and statements; producing reports and materials
  • Assists with insider trading windows and communications, processing, and tracking of Section 16 Officer transactions
  • Manages all aspects of the semi-annual Employee Stock Purchase Program, including disposition reporting
  • Assists outside vendor with data collection for meeting Section 6039 requirements
  • Reconciles stock option plans and related accounts monthly and annually
  • Ensures compliance of international stock plans in each country, and stays abreast of legislative changes
  • Acts as liaison for SOX compliance and audit and identify process improvement opportunities
  • Support the development and implementation of broad-based educational programs and communications related to equity plan participation, programs, policies
  • Provides ad hoc analysis and work on special projects as assigned

 

Qualifications/Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (CEP designation preferred)
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience in multinational, public company
  • Experience with E*Trade EEO (or a similar system) required  and HRIS system (SuccessFactors preferred)
  • Knowledge of stock options, restricted stock, performance shares and stock purchase plans
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills and outstanding analytical skills a must
  • Exceptional results orientation with a high degree of personal initiative and very hands on, flexible and customer centric attitude
  • Strong organizational skills, detail orientation and ability to independently handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact successfully with all management levels
