Description
The Process Engineer 2 is responsible for sustaining, improving, and optimizing test and post-test manufacturing processes to ensure high yield, quality performance, and operational efficiency. This role supports production activities, drives root cause analysis, and implements corrective actions to meet business and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Support daily test and post-test manufacturing operations to ensure stable output and yield.
Perform root cause analysis on yield losses, test failures, and process excursions.
Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor and analyze process performance using statistical tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Quality, Manufacturing) to resolve issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in yield, quality, and cycle time.
Maintain process documentation, specifications, and control plans.
Required Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or related).
2+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing (preferably Test / Post Test).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with statistical analysis (SPC, Cp/Cpk, data trending).
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Desired Experience and Skills
Experience with test handlers , AOI equipment (Vitrox, ICOS, SRM) and peel test processes
Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, JMP, Power BI).
Experience supporting yield improvement projects.
Understanding of customer quality requirements and audits.
